Sometimes wildlife photography takes on a different meaning. You just shoot! You never know what you will get. I chased this owl all over the yard at my home snapping several shots but this one was the most unique. The owl is a predator and can be best expressed in what I call here the "Terminator Owl". The camera flash gives the eerie look that could be frightening if you hadn't already seen him in his unique beauty during the day. That haunting hoot takes on a different meaning now. Just another moment in the life of a wildlife photographer.
