This photograph was part of my original logo. Since it is no longer used for that purpose I thought it would be a waste not to at least use it in the archives. This owl had landed in an old dead oak tree behind my house. I ran in the house and quickly attached my large flash to my camera and was able to capture him in front of the moon. If the owl had not been so far away and the photo so grainy it would have been great for our portfolio. Instead I have been only able to use it like this. I hope you enjoy one more day in the life of the wildlife photographer.
